“A few years ago I had the opportunity to visit a
small seaside resort village on the island of Corfu, Greece.
While lunching at a café, I was personally greeted
by the owner, welcoming me to his ‘home.’ From
the peaceful décor to the amazing aromas awakening
my palate, I felt welcomed, relaxed, and above all else,
right at home.
Looking back, it was probably right there on the coast of
the Mediterranean Sea that the idea for Southern Comfort
Café and Catering was born. The vision: a unique restaurant
concept reminiscent of Sundays at Momma’s house, when
the whole family gathered together to share a meal – and
more importantly, a piece of themselves.”

Here the rich flavors and aromatic spices of Cajun cuisine
and the comfort foods of Southern cooking have finally
found a home together in one incredible place. Concerned
about calories, cholesterol and fat? Don’t be, we
have adapted many of our recipes to appeal to a heart healthy
audience. This is the very spice of life with all the comforts
of home, from mesquite-grilled steaks and chops and pan-seared
fish to gumbo, jambalaya, shrimp Creole and Bananas Foster.
