An
Investment Opportunity with Delicious Returns
Why Invest?
What makes Southern Comfort Café and Catering
a sound investment? In a word: return.
And what sets us apart from the rest is…
Our Vision.
This is what sets us apart from the typical casual diner,
and from any other dining experience. It is our vision
to make Southern Comfort Café a place where people
can connect, come together to enjoy a great meal, and leave
feeling as though they belong to something significant.
Whether it is shared at an intimate table with close friends
or at our “Momma’s Table” with a large
group, our food is served on large platters made for passing.
This feeling of togetherness is a concept we believe will
appeal to all diners, especially visitors to our city.
Childhood stories of family, friends, travels and photos
will bring our menu to life, continuing the feeling of
home throughout every part of the dining experience.
Our Food.
We’ve taken Southern and Cajun cuisine to a whole
new level. Recent studies by the National Restaurant Association
show that the popularity of both Southern and Cajun cuisine
is rising, with tremendous appeal to both restaurant owners
and guests alike. The ingredients are cost effective, and
the turn-around in investment in food costs, storage and
handling are above average. Much of this cuisine has great
appeal to diners who prefer low carbohydrates diets or
the satisfying fill of comfort food. Above all else, our
recipes are very, very good, and our restaurants will be
known for great food, exquisite presentation, incredible
value and the friendliest service.
Our Location.
As the fastest-growing city in the nation, Las Vegas also
boasts some of the finest dining experiences in the world.
With a widespread marketing and advertising campaign
highlighting brand identity, name recognition and dining
value, Southern Comfort Café will soon become
an old favorite with a reputation for making tourists
and residents alike feel right at home.
Our
Passion.
Southern Comfort Café may be the only restaurant
where the people come before the food. Yes, our food is
delicious and served in generous portions. But people are
our real focus, and our greatest passion. Our product is
not our food, nor a personality. It is creating that sense
of ease, comfort and belonging that we all seek – a
sense of home every time you visit.
Our Objective.
Our goal is a clear one: to build the fastest-growing casual
dining restaurant franchise in America by building a
reputation for very good food, a unique dining experience,
and steadfast value and integrity. Our objective is to
do so quickly enough for all the principal investors
to fund their retirement within 15 years.
In
order to consistently provide a better than average return
on investment to our partners/investors, during
our first two years of operation we will focus on a strong
foundation rather than quick growth. Instead of expanding
numerically or geographically, we will focus our energies
and resources on cost controls, menu development, guest
relations, training and concept development. We will open
additional units in other venues only at a pace that will
optimize the appeal of the concept and enhance return on
investment. We will limit overall growth in the first five
years to fewer than 20 units operating primarily in Las
Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, Arizona and Utah – all
areas projected by the National Restaurant Association
to have the highest percentage growth in sales revenue
for restaurants. By our fifth year of operation, we will
be positioned to expand the Southern Comfort Café and
Catering Concept nationally and internationally through
unique franchise/partnership opportunities.
A word from Chef-Owner
Jeffrey Campbell…
Southern Comfort Café is my passion. There are only
two things I have ever wanted to do, and bringing people
together in my own restaurant and serving the foods I grew
up on is number one.
Food
and people have been my passion for many years now. I
have a Liberal Arts Degree from the University of Illinois,
Chicago Circle, and received my culinary training at the
Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago, under Chef
Germain Peladeau. I have apprenticed at a number of catering
houses and restaurants, including Cest si bon Catering
and Levy Catering. Soon after graduating, I started my
own catering company, and successfully grew Diaspora Catering
for ten years in the Chicago area. I have held line positions
at such renowned Las Vegas restaurants as Fog City Dinner
and Romano’s Macaroni Grill, and have earned a reputation
for being honest and professional.
I have had the good fortune of working with some of the
most knowledgeable and capable leaders in the food and
beverage industry, and will use my reputation to assemble
a management team, wait staff and food handlers who share
my passion for excellence. If you share that passion as
well, I invite you to partner with me in this exciting
endeavor.
If you would like more information on becoming an investor/partner,
